The Brisbane Night Market is closed in keeping with the Federal Government’s directive that all non-essential gatherings of 500 or more people be cancelled.

At this stage, we are not sure when the Brisbane Night Market will reopen. However, rest assured that we will be back bigger and better as soon as we get the all clear to do so.

The Brisbane Night Market is located across the road from the Saturday Fresh and Sunday Discovery Markets in the Brisbane Produce Market. Simply plug 385 Sherwood Rd, Rocklea QLD 4106 into your GPS.

Entry to the Brisbane Night Market is $2.50 per person, payable at the entry gate. Children under 15 years of age accompanied by an adult enter free.

The Brisbane Night Market operates on private property and, unlike many other markets, the facilities available to visitors include toilets, ATMs, free entertainment and kids’ activities.

The Market also engages a cleaning team, on site security, traffic management staff and market officers to ensure a high standard of operation.

We have in excess of 600 FREE parking spaces available on site. The newly constructed Multi-level Car Park on Sherwood Road is less than 100 metres away from the hustle and bustle of the Brisbane Night Market. Yes, the Brisbane Night Market is fully undercover and operates rain, hail or shine. The Multi-level Car Park is undercover and there is a covered walkway from the car park to the Market.

Entertainment is on offer every Friday, including a dedicated kids’ entertainment section.

Yes, the entire venue is licenced. The Brisbane Night Market takes the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) very seriously.

We ask you to strongly consider nominating one person in your group as the NON-DRINKING driver.

Unaccompanied Minors will not be served at any Bar and accompanied minors must have orders for non-alcoholic beverages placed by a responsible parent/guardian.

It is illegal to take liquor into, or away from this Venue.

Unduly intoxicated or disorderly persons, in accordance with the Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA), will be refused service and may be asked to leave the premises.

We have the right to refuse entry to any person.

All employees are trained and supported by management to request valid identification from persons whom they believe appear under 25 years of age.

Yes, there are male, female and disabled toilets on site. The facilities are located at the front and rear of the Market, with signage accordingly. Click here to view a map of our facilities.

Yes, baby change facilities are available at the Brisbane Night Market. Click here to view a map of our facilities. The parent’s room is located in the toilets at the rear of the Market.

ATMs are located at the front entry to the Brisbane Night Market and next to the main bar. The ATMs charge a service fee of $3.20 per transaction. ATMs are not operated by Brisbane Night Market. In the event of a malfunction with the ATMs, please contact the Supervisor to assist.

The Brisbane Night Market will go ahead rain, hail or shine. The Market is fully undercover, so no need to worry about getting drenched – just have a great time.

In the event of extreme weather, we may close the venue to ensure the safety of our guests and Stallholders. If this occurs we will advise the closure on our social media channels (Facebook and Instagram) and on our website.

Smoking is strictly prohibited anywhere inside the venue. Smoking facilities are available at the rear of the Market in the designated outdoor smoking area. Click here to view a map of our facilities.

Dogs are not permitted at the Brisbane Night Market with the exception of guide dogs for the visually impaired or assistance dogs. Owners must present valid certification for their dog to be allowed entry.

Speak to a market staff member if you become separated from your children or require first aid. Lost or distressed children are usually taken to the front entry, where our staff will care for them until they are reunited with their parents.

It is important not to panic and immediately report or bring lost children to the front entry to commence the search process. Generally children or parents are found quickly, allowing everyone to enjoy the Market again.

Yes, filming or photography at the Market for commercial, student or promotional purposes requires a permit and all requests must be received in writing.
Please email bmp@brisbanemarkets.com.au with the following information:

  • company name (including ACN/ABN, Address, Telephone, Fax, Website);
  • purpose of the filming/photography;
  • proposed date and time of the filming/photography;
  • number in the film/photo crew including any talent; and
  • a copy of your company’s Public Liability Insurance equivalent to a minimum of AUD $20M.

PLEASE NOTE: Insurance policies MUST be in Australian Dollars only. Policies insured in Foreign Currencies are not acceptable.

Once the above information has been received, your request will be reviewed. If approved, a filming or photography permit application will be sent to you for your signature. Please note, a fee may be applicable.

To obtain a job with a Stallholder or shop owner, you will need to approach them individually yourself as the Brisbane Night Market does not provide an employment service for any of its Stallholders.
